Derek Parker is responsible for the development of the Housing Counseling & National Neighbors curricula, collateral and training programs in cooperation with other program and NCRC Academy staff. Derek has over twelve years of instructional design, project management, training facilitation and related experience at Capital One Bank, its predecessor Chevy Chase Bank, as well as at Bank of America, were he has held job titles such as Learning Consultant, Assistant Vice President – Retail Leadership Development Programs, and Training Coordinator. He is a member of the American Society for Training & Development. Mr. Parker has a Masters of Science in Organization Development & Strategic Human Services from John Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree from Norfolk State University.
