Mark Praigg is the son of Betty Stevens Praigg and the late Nelson S. Praigg, Jr. A native of Pasadena, California, he attended public schools in Pasadena and Newport Beach. He is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts Studies.
Most recently he was the Vice President/Regional Marketing and Community Relations Manager for Wells Fargo in Greater Houston. Previously, he worked for Wells Fargo's Los Angeles Metro marketing department as an Assistant Vice President and Marketing Consultant. Prior to Mark's career at Wells Fargo, he worked in development and administration for the Los Angeles Master Chorale, a professional choir and resident company at the Los Angeles Music Center.
A semi-professional singer himself, he has performed at numerous churches and temples in California and Texas. He sang in the choir at the funeral of Frank Sinatra. Currently, he is a member of the choir at St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Houston.
He is a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Houston Arts Alliance. Previously, he served on the Board of Directors of the HIV & AIDS Legal Services Alliance in Los Angeles as well as volunteering for the Los Angeles Jewish Home for the Aging.
