Carla dal Cais is the Special Assistant to the Chief Business Officer. Previous to joining NCRC she worked as an Online Communications Specialist for the Global Economy and Development program at the Brookings Institution.

Prior to her work at Brookings, Carla joined the World Bank's Junior Professional Associate program. During her two years there, she managed and performed all of the production work on five Web sites as the Web Manager of the Agricultural and Rural Development Department. Before her position at the World Bank, Carla was a Production Specialist in the Electronic Media department of Science Magazine at the American Association for Advancement of Science.

Carla is a graduate of North Carolina State University, with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Zoology and a minor in French. She also has a Master's degree from George Mason University's School of Public Policy.
