Consuella McCain serves as the Director of the National Community Reinvestment Coalition’s Washington DC based Women’s Business Center.
Prior to joining our team Consuella worked as the Human Relations and Fair Housing Manager for the City of Olathe, Kansas.
Consuella’s dedication to fostering inclusion and equality has allowed her to build credible and sustained partnership opportunities within her industries. Her efforts to develop and implement programs that help attract and maintain a globally rich workforce through entrepreneurship are ongoing.
Since beginning her career in non-profit program development and public service, Consuella has facilitated and hosted presentations with important focus areas that include the effects of social economics on business development, human trafficking, systemic racism in housing and workforce industry clusters. These issues have a vast impact on business, economic and workforce development.
With more than a decade of experience, Consuella has an understanding of how to develop and utilize public/ private partnerships, grant administration and gap-financing awards to advance business and economic development. She is also accomplished in program/tool development to better serve today’s women-owned business community, and is knowledgeable about creating and implementing programming and tools that foster economic development and growth through access to contracting, financing and job creation opportunities.
Consuella is a native of Kansas City, Missouri and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from DeVry, a Master of Public Administration from Keller Graduate School, and is also a Patricia Roberts National Fair Housing Training Academy-Certified Fair Housing Investigation Specialist.
