National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC) in partnership with the the National Alliance to End Homelessness and Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) cordially invites housing counselors and professionals to attend a Housing Counseling Training hosted by the National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC) in partnership with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This New Orleans training will span 5 days and be of great benefit to those dealing with issues in servicing, collection and loss mitigation. In this 5-day workshop housing counselors will review the skills and tools needed to recognize and respond to fair housing violations, initiate a housing search to assist homeless with housing placement, and stabilization strategies; the history of fair housing/lending civil rights and strategies on how to find fair lending and mortgage abuses and fraud. The courses and days offered are below:
Participation is open to all not-for-profit organizations and/or state or local agencies that provide housing counseling or fair housing services. Limited scholarships are available.
