The neighborhood’s history with displacement predates the stadium talk: the National Community Reinvestment Coalition ranked Denver as the top city in the country for Hispanic displacement in 2019, according to the Colorado Times Recorder. Two other cultural institutions in the area, Museo de las Americas and Su Teatro, told Axios they had not been approached by the Broncos or the Walton-Penner group about selling their properties.
